Worthiness & Our Bodies as a Shell
Self-worth is the value we place on our individual lives and the achievements we attain.
As our self-worth is tied to our self-esteem and confidence in our abilities to take steps to achieve the goals we set for ourselves.
Many Body Positive movements encourage moving to understanding that our bodies are simply a shell, or the vessel we get to experience human life through.
This allows us to place less emphasis on presentation in our lives and make time for the important parts of life.
